These Terms govern your access to and use of https://www.mybng.org and the bNg Karyakarta network operated by Barter & Green Foundation. By creating an account or browsing the site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be 14 years or older. Members aged 14–18 must have a guardian’s co-signed consent. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
2. The Barter Credit (BC) ledger
- BCs are units of contribution. They have no monetary value.
- BCs are not redeemable for cash and not transferable to non-members.
- Inactive BCs expire after 24 months of zero activity.
- Disputes must be raised within 30 days; the Karyakarta Pradhan’s decision is final for amounts up to 1,000 BC; larger disputes go to the We-Five council.
3. Listings & conduct
- You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of your listings.
- Prohibited: anything illegal, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, plagiarised, or infringing.
- bNg may remove listings, suspend accounts, or expel members for violations, after notice (except for severe or repeated violations, where action may be immediate).
4. Community-network rewards
The community-network rewards programme issues a small monthly bonus to active referrers whose referrals post their first listing. The exact monthly cap is governed by bNg’s internal economic policy and is visible inside the member dashboard. The programme is designed to grow the network, not to produce income for any individual. There is no commission, no income, no “downline” or “upline” structure for members.
5. Privacy
Your use of bNg is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Government scheme submissions
Where we help you submit applications to government portals (PM Suryaghar, Udyam, Skill India, etc.), we do so on your express consent. The final decision is the Government’s; bNg makes no representation as to subsidy approval timelines or amounts.
7. Intellectual property
The bNg name, logo, and content are the property of Barter & Green Foundation. Member content remains yours; by posting it on bNg you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it within the network.
8. Limitation of liability
bNg facilitates a community barter network. We are not a party to individual barter transactions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties for member-supplied goods and services, and our aggregate liability is limited to the notional value of BCs disputed.
9. Termination
You may close your account anytime from the Dashboard. We may terminate or suspend access for breaches of these Terms or where required by law.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts at Hyderabad have exclusive jurisdiction.
11. Changes
Material changes will be announced via SMS/email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
